My mother radiated joy and kindness, always willing to extend a compassionate hand to those in need.

My biological father presented a charming face in public, but he was an entirely different person within the walls of our home — a violent narcissist who kept us in constant fear and submission.

When I was 7 years old, we escaped in the middle of the night to find refuge, well beyond the reach of my sadistic father.

But tragically a few months later at the age of 25, my mother's life was taken. She was buried in a country grave along with my little brother David.

My younger sister and I were orphaned, with no place to call home.

At the age of 23, I married and later became the proud father of four children where we settled in the south of France, near Avignon.

While working to provide for my family, I pursued education and work in the fields of counselling psychology, business and social work.

In 1997, I returned back to Canada with my family and we made Calgary our home.

In 2011, I became a full-time single parent which left us struggling to recover from the heart-break we'd all just experienced as a family.

With the proper guidance we got through and indeed, my greatest achievement is having raised and launched my four amazing children.

In my personal time, I love hiking deep into the backcountry of the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains.

In my life, I've zeroed in on two big goals:

1) Healing and Rising Above

I wasn't just going to survive my past. I aimed for transformational healing that went really deep, right to the core of my mind, body and spirit.

2) Becoming an International Expert

I've TRAINED EXTENSIVELY in counselling techniques that are backed by SOLID SCIENCE & RESEARCH.

Further, I've thrown myself wholeheartedly into:

studying, researching and mastering
some of the most cutting-edge therapeutic methods
that have been proven to get results.
